17th September - The Sacramento Kings have officially announced the signing of guard Boogie Ellis, an undrafted rookie. The details of the contract have not been disclosed due to team policy.
Ellis, 23, was a standout player from the University of Southern California, where he played alongside teammate Brownie and served as the team's captain. During the summer league this year, Ellis played in 5 games for the Kings, averaging 11.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game with a three-point shooting percentage of 54.5%.
Throughout his college career, Ellis appeared in 95 games, averaging 15.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game with a shooting percentage of 42.7% and a three-point shooting percentage of 39.5%.
